Dear Madison,
I am deeply honored to be chosen by you to be the newest member of the MMSD Board of Education.
Thank you to every voter that cast their ballot, to my dedicated campaign team, to my family and friends for your unwavering support and guidance—and most of all thank you my daughter, Jasmine, for your perseverance & persistence along this wild journey. I couldn’t have done it without any of you.
Congratulations to my fellow Board Members who won their re-election campaigns: Ali Muldrow & Nichelle Nichols, our district is incredibly fortunate to have you both share your passion and commitment to our schools.
Also, Congratulations to Wisconsin on electing Susan Crawford to Supreme Court and Jill Underly as State Superintendent.
I am so excited for this next chapter; where we all work together as champions for our kids, our schools, and our community. This victory belongs to all of us who believe in a bright future for all students.
Together, we have the power to make meaningful, sustainable, and innovative changes in our education system.
My direct support of parents helped shaped our campaign goals, and I am committed to using my voice to guide decisions going forward.
By enhancing & optimizing the great programs we already have in place, as well as working to learn new ways of providing support.
I know we will give students a sense of strength and value, while also giving educators the tools they need to meet the diverse needs of students. Regardless of if you voted for me or not, I welcome a conversation and an opportunity to connect you. I promise to be a leader for all, regardless of background or beliefs. Through surprising collaborations & creativity, we can create spaces where everyone can thrive.
My door will always be open.
Please feel free to call me at (920) 248-0969 or email me at Martha4MMSD@gmail.com. If I am unable to answer your call immediately, I will return it and I strive to respond to all emails within one week. I look forward to hearing from you.
